Had a (supposed) problem with the water pump cycling on and off while water was running. Read on the forum about an adjustment to the pump that should correct the issue. When I pulled the covering panel to access the pump I discovered a dirty water filter. Replaced the filter and all the cycling stopped.
When I finished reinstalling the cover I remembered I hadn’t looked at the pump to see where the adjustment thingy is located. Oh well.

After finishing the packing and checking all air pressures, we finally headed to Raystown Lake, PA. Time for some R&R.

I need to do something for mine. It's bulky.
I wonder about those red hooks for the wheels, then a strap for the front. Definitely helps seeing someone has done it already.

I took care of a few little things today. I kept breaking the louvers or whatever they are called on the heater vent on the floor. It is in such a bad location (right after you step in the 5th wheel, just around the couch). Since we don't really use the heat that often (we are cold weather wimps), I cut a piece of sheet metal, screwed it over the vent, then covered that with a magnetic vent cover. And over that, a small rug. No more breaking those stupid things.
I also replaced the rubber seal in the toilet (Dometic 310). It hasn't held water for a while. I just finally got around to doing it. And as easy as it was, I should have done it a long time ago. But no more water leak from there now.
I also got the measurements to replace the AC vent covers. I want some with better airflow, and better control of where the air is flowing. So I am going to replace the fixed vent covers with the rotating and dampered vents. I have one coming in from Amazon. I will wait to see how it works before replacing the rest.
A busy, but pretty easy day.

I replaced mine with shuttered, metal registers from one of the big box home improvement stores. No more flimsy plastic.
Just be cautious of the decreased air flow with the one you covered. Wouldn't want the heater to overheat from restricted air flow.

Eliminating a pet peeve
It always annoyed me when hooked to the TT, I couldn't lower the tailgate of the pickup. It would come just to the light switch or lower/raise switch. Well, remedied that yesterday. This fix worked on the LCI electric jack. Removed the the head by removing the 2 bolts on the side. Lifted the head off and set aside. There are 4 holes located on the frame, 2 of which are threaded (the bolts removed) and 90 degrees opposite are 2 more. I tapped those 2 untapped holes with a 5/16 18T tap, reinstalled the head. It's a real easy fix/mod.

Not hardly worth mentioning, but we put a 3" foam topper on our murphy bed mattress. The standard length fills in the "gap" where we'd lose our pillows and - the comfort! Ahhhhh! Sooo much better!

I did the same last year with mine and it's so much better now! My Ram tailgate was really, really close and sometimes would just clear the switch depending on the slight angle of the truck, but would hit most of the time. Great mod.

Fixed under floor heat ducting and reattached coraplast underbelly with mechanical fasteners after detachment while on vacation. Temporary fix with gorilla tape held for 400 miles on return trip home.
No explanation as to what caused detachment since all tanks still firmly in place and no holes in under belly from road hazards.

Changed the oil and oil filter. Scrubbed the awning. Started loading her up for weekend camping/fishing trip with my brother.

That's what this was. But the metal stupid things all broke. And no worries about airflow. Like I said, we don't use it very often at all. And I can just remove the metal cover if I need to.

Restricted air flow will cause the other registers to be hotter and can cause the internal high temperature sensor to cycle the burner off/on shortening the life of the ignition control module.

Great mod! I did this to mine this morning, hated not being able to lower the tailgate when I had the trailer hooked up.
