Called the auto club to have her brought back to my house with a badly broken leaf spring

Mobile repair guy will come there to fix it.

Not the end I had planned to my amazing 10 day trip, but could have been worse, could have happened at the start or in a dangerous spot

My little Clipper 17bh has been amazing for 5 seasons now, so glad it’s a little thing...

Well, not to the camper, but.....

Picked up next season's campfire wood and stacked in barn, to season it. Will have a nice supply of dry seasoned wood for those campfires.

Drained & flushed out the water heater (lots of sediment & anode deposits as usual). Because I had a spare anode rod, I decided to just replace it, partially since I can't remember the last time I did........maybe 2 years ago...SMH. Recorded the date this time.
Replace my water filter cartridge, sanitized the FW tank, lines and hoses and made a hose just the right length for use at our winter lease spot rather than having excess hose coiled up on the ground or somewhere else. I also put new pipe insulation on it for those infrequent freezing nights.

I figure about 70% used. Could have gotten another year....maybe?

Added hanging shelves to the "shirt closets" at the head of the bed.

Also added a 3" memory foam topper to the bed. Click image for larger version

Remembered I forgot to pull out and drain/dry the Camco Evo freestanding water filter for winter. I have a 4' hose attached that I seal to the inlet and outlet for transport. Drained and dried the housing, drying the filter on a heat duct.

Had just gone through a road construction area. Our TST system alarm went off. Not sure what we hit. Maybe after the tire is removed we will find something inside.

I was kidding. It was a reference to the claims that OEM trailer tires must be replaced by Goodyears before the trailer leaves the dealer lot.
