Ok, got the back up (& rear view while driving ) camera finally installed.
I had earlier prepped the wiring for it, but had to wait for a nice day in which the people storing behind us had taken their trailer out (about a 50/50 chance it seems) to finish.
This was a pain in the butt.
The bracket the camera company supplied was actually to shallow and the antenna was hitting the lens and wall. Had to polish engineer it into a better fit (sacrificed a bracket made for something else).
Also had to plug screw holes that no longer matched.

Storage drawer
Little late posting this as I built it last July.
Anyway it sure has proved handy, no more unloading everything to get to the far side items. Our front storage area has been a pain ever since we got the trailer, only took me 33 months to get around to going ahead with the plan. The whole thing weighs about 80 pounds, maybe a little added tongue weight but it is worth every pound.
It took 40 roller-skate bearings and some square tubing and formed 18 gauge steel.
Here's some pictures of it.
First one is of the rollers and framework screwed to the floor ready for the tray.
Second one is with the tray in place, I can pull it out to within 18 inches of the back so getting the stuff out of the back is very simple.
Third picture is of edge showing the 3/4 inch square tubing used for a runner.
Fouth is of the tray out ready to be put in.
I have about $120 involved in building this, our dealer said they can be bought for about $700 to $800!!!!!

Has anyone purchased Rec Pro furniture from Amazon? Curious if it has held up. One of the reviews said the material fell apart in a short period of time.

The propane tanks were empty. I wasn't impressed but don't recall whether or not the contract said they were to be filled. I'll check. If so, I'll ask for a cash refund for the value.
The PDI was thorough. Temps prevented use of water in the tanks to demonstrate that they work. I asked the tech and was told they had done so when they received the trailer a few weeks ago. As above, propane was also lacking so no checking that.
I climbed on the roof and found what appeared to be staple heads or the like causing dimples in the roof membrane from underneath. None were large enough to make puncture seem imminent, but there's a potential. If it happened, I wouldn't even know it until I climbed up on the roof again.
If I were seriously picky, I might have declined purchased and argued about having the membrane peeled back, the imperfections corrected, then the membrane reapplied. That probably would be overkill so I requested instead to put dabs of Dicor on those spots to protect against penetration.
When I checked after the contract was signed, they had put Dicor blobs on many more spots than I saw, so I believe they were being more proactive than I would have been. When i get home I'll take a picture of the roof and correspond with Forest River and RVW to document it in case it becomes an issue in the future. I doubt it will.
I checked gas, water, electrical and other mechanical functions myself today. All seems well. I don't doubt that we'll find minor issues in the future but they don't justify my not taking it home to Florida tomorrow.
What I found a bit weird and unprofessional is the final interaction with "an old friend" of the owner. It was an attempt to proselytize. I saw where it was going and declined to enter into a conversation without being rude. He was polite about not going further, but it was out of place.

Sorry to say I had to look that one up. I agree, out of place during a financial transaction.

We bought Rec Pro theator recliners directly from them. Installed them back in the spring and so far so good, through 5 camping trips.

In PA (state inspections) they would make you move that camera higher or lower to keep it from obstructing the center lens.
Glad it is working OK for you.

Good to know. I'm probably going to install an LED light strip above the lens and change the lens cap from red to black, since I no longer have a bulb in there.

That would be a good idea to do as having removed the bulb and having a non-working clearance light will likely result in a safety violation ticket/fine. Might seem picky but...
Those lights are on there as per Federal DOT regulations on a vehicle of that size.
The factory didn't put them on there just because they thought they'd look nice.
They must be working regardless of the state you live/drive.

What did you do to your camper today?
Bought it a new 2020 Chevy 3500HD LTZ tow vehicle.
(Don’t know why it posted the photo twice?)

Nice! Congrats!
It didn't post the photo twice.
That's a glitch in the app.
Once you back out of the thread and back in, all is well.

Don't recall if it was this thread or another, but another member had a great idea for the cover, doing away with the nuts...hopefully they chime in

After you replace the nut Turn the Entire Cover around placing the Hinge to the Front and the Nuts to the Rear! This will prevent the LID from being ripped off if the nuts loosen! Youroo!!

I also drilled small holes and use cable ties as a failsafe after losing one.

I have no grandiose expectations of IKEA furniture but I also know we do nothing but crap upon the crap that RVs come with. It at least gets a leg up over the IKEA dresser and desk that has ridden in our garage.
The desk is awaiting its turn at being fixed.
The dresser has been repaired repeatedly until it can’t be fixed any longer. Just built and secured its replacement this weekend.
