Id pick #3.

I’ve got a plan. I’ll be driving through Hamburg, NY, and the Camping World there has them in stock. So I’ll head out on Saturday and pick it up and do the install on the road. Lol it’s easy and I have practice, since I put the other one in before I realized it was wrong! [emoji849]

Why not order what you want and have it delivered to an address you’ll be at down the road?

Just go to HD and buy a CO detector and put it nearby. When you replace with the right one later move the CO detector to the bedroom. You cannot have enough of them espically if you run a generator.

Enjoy the trip!

What did you do to your camper today?

I’ll probably be 2 nights on the road and am paranoid...
But I found one that I can pick up before night #1 [emoji4]

I considered that but I just got new ones at home and 1 is plenty in a 17’ trailer, and I didn’t want to keep this one and still have to buy another later, I’m too cheap for that!
But I found one I can pick up and install on day 1 of my trip

MorRyde CRE3000 & wet bolts

Removed to old solid equalizers and nylon bushings, replaced with MorRyde CRE 3000 equalizers and wet bolt system. Haven't had it out yet, but I'm hoping it helps smooth the earthquakes. It's a big job, but you can do it yourself. Setting the jacks and jack stands is the most important part.

Now I understand. Our cabinets are hinged on the side, which I why I couldn't envision what you were describing.

Thanks to others for their input.

The MorRyde replacements appear to have a slot rather than a fixed mounting hole. I surmise that provides a bit of give rather than being rigid. Other than that, and the old equipment being worn, does the new system work better in other ways?

Towed it from PA into VA on the way to FL.
Some rain & fog this morning but otherwise a pleasant day.

Safe travels!

It's been a wet one here in Florida the past couple of weeks. Be careful if you end up at in grassy spots. I'm hearing reports of folks getting stuck getting into and out of camp sites.

On Christmas Eve, I installed my new Gator SR2 truck bed cover. It's no hard rolltop cover, but it's also a fraction of the price!

So far I like it.

Thanks Doug, we are holed up in SC this evening and should be to our destination early tomorrow.
Hoping for high and dry! Maybe we'll cross paths somewhere in the next few months.

Also forgot - I'm fixed a long-standing water leak. I'm sad to say how wet the floor is and how far spread it is. I have a dehumidifier running in the basement area. We'll see how it turns out.

The "holder-uppers" gas struts are available in many lengths via Amazon for fair pricing, be it for cabinets or car parts.

Yep, beautiful day here in FL.
We went to DeLeon Springs and the water was a balmy 78°. It was 15° back in PA last evening. The water there was... hard! (frozen) LOL!

Happy New Year
