Organized the passthrough and added pegboard. I had this in my old trailer, new one is coming along.
Added some bracing.. If they could build these units out of cardboard they would..

Since I found out about a stupid 10k GVWR limit with a Class C license in this state and the test for the "J" endorsement is a major pain, I looked for another FW under 10k. Found and picked up this sweet '17 Jayco Eagle 28.5RTST in Boise, Id which is actually larger than our Wildcat and has three slides yet is only 9950 GVWR. Traded in the Wildcat and towed it home 400 miles. So, now I'm legal to tow and probably won't be on this site too often.

Nice rig, congrats!
No need to leave. Lots of information isn't R/V brand specific.

You are right, and I will continue surfing the site. Lots of good info here and not a lot of attitude.

That is a very nice addition, We are just in the process of going to a Coachmen Chaparral 336 TSIK and would like to do that in the basement.

The overhead cabinets in the kitchen work area opened outward exactly at forehead level. Got some new gas springs from Amazon, rotated the doors 90 degrees and attached the hinges to the top. Now they swing up when open so the hazard is removed.

Was almost 70 degrees yesterday here in New Jersey so I lifted the cover opened the door and a window. Placed a box fan in the door and aired it out.

What did you do to your camper today?

Vinegar in hot water heater, then flush... lots of mineral deposits, but anode is good for at least another year...

Tomorrow sanitize?

Went to where it is stored and moved it a couple feet to get the tires moved around a little. Checked inside for rats, etc. but found no evidence of any. High and dry.

Still tracking down a water leak. I had found one behind a wall in the basement but resolved that. Now I have a drop by the door again.

I opened the wall and there was a slow leak where I “fixed” before. So I tightened that up some more. I think it started leaking again because of me trying to store stuff where I shouldn’t.

Hopefully this is the root of my issue. I cut some of the undercoating and followed water on the wood floor to the front, so I do think this is the source.

But we’ll see.

Got it its first professional bath today along with the TV at Blue Beacon of Dade City in Florida on way to Fort Myers. Boy did it ever need it after leaving home last Wednesday from Illinois.
