Got in a cord mount 30TT receptical to make a generator paralleling cable for my 2 small inverter generators. I bought an inexpensive paralleling cable before but haven't tried it. It's just the cable, I'd have to use an outlet on one of the generators with just that and THAT would limit me to 20 amps pulled by the TT. Enough for the air conditioning but if I'm running two gennys, I want the power options available.

Just finished installing a set of Horst Miracle Probes (Valterra) in both Black and Gray water tanks.

Time to install the probes, about 15 minutes per tank.

Time to wrestle the belly cover, about 5 hours spread over two days.

Belly cover is now fully secured by screws rather than nails so any future access will be a piece of cake compared to this project.

I personally think those Horst probes are pretty darn good. I've used them on my last two campers and after a quick tank flush they almost always read empty. If not immediately, within a short amount of time after the flush. Much, much better than the stock button probes.

What tools or method worked best for you on the removal of the nails? I have removed two with a pair of vice grips and they were a bear to get out!

I used a 6-point 1/4 in socket in my cordless drill. First i chiseled off the plastic that was part of the nail.

Then just spun the nail while prying under the washer.

Most came right out but i had to break one off with a chisel and another i just cut around the washer so the coroplast would drop.

I replaced nails with self drill/tap TEK screws. On the two locations where i couldn't get nails out I just put the TEK screws in right next to the old nail locations.

Later when it warms a little i'm going to seal all edges with aluminum tape to keep water, dirt, and dust out.

Did you consider just not putting it back on?

I don't have one and I'm glad I don't.

Didn't even cross my mind. Where I boondock not only do I have to drive down dusty/muddy roads but there are the usual complement of rodents present.

The belly cover is there for a more important reason than just aggravating us when we want to access something in that area

Well, to each his own. Gives the rodents more places to hide, IMHO. And less incentive for people to actually inspect what's going on with their frame and other components under there.

Wait, what? They didn’t test your brakes, too? I’m in Austin and have had to have the brakes test for years now. (A good thing, but a PITA hauling it to a place that can do this)

Hooked up and went camping! Unfortunately the power pedestal is flakey and the intermittent power is now off. Will have to check for another site in the morning. Luckily the battery is full so we have lights.

Working out a plan to remove the upper bunk in my TT. Want to keep the parts to reinstall for sales purposes. Crazy weather in PA makes want take the cover off and get to work on it!
Does graveling the drive with limestone count for the TT?

Took out an 18 yr old leaking Aqua Magic IV toilet and installed a Dometic 310 (comfort height). Somewhat of a challenge as the AM IV bolted down on the front and rear side and the Dometic bolts down on the sides so had to unscrew and turn the hold down ring about 60 deg. Also had to fab up new water connection due to different length between old and new.

Currently on our inaugural camping trip. Only a few minor issues so far. I did not expect it to snow all day in March in central Ohio.

Help trying to decide if it is a good investment to put eternabond tape on my seams or to continue with Dicor

I would definitely opt for the eternabond tape. The peace of mind is well worth it!

Eternabond is pricey but its an investment. If you plan to keep your trailer for quite a few years it is worth the investment.

Blew leaves and twigs off TT roof and covered. Why cover you ask. I park under an oak tree in south texas, and it's that time of year when they loose their leaves and develop the pollen that will turn the trailer roof a greenish color.

Put Enterabond tape all around the top edges over the Dicor. Patched a small crack in my gutter over the front awing. Hope it works. Put a thin piece of board behind my sofa so if anything falls it won't go into the storage compartment.
