Put Rejex on the hood, new windshield and leading edges of the motorhome in anticipation of heading north on Monday. Topped off the tank - diesel (with discount) was $1.27!

Cleaned the oxidation off my skylight over the shower. I hadn't done it since we purchased, going on three and a half years. Click image for larger version

That's a removable cover inside to help keep the heat down while camping in full sun! We sometimes remove that to enjoy the light it produces. Starlit skies at night are all right as well when taking showers too [emoji23]

Replaced my 55amp WFCO convertor with a Progressive 4600 / 55 amp 4 stage convertor, my WFCO never came out of 13.6 charge mode, in 3 days with the wizard, I put it in 14.6 amp charger mode and let it do its thing. Took two days at 13.6 after the 14.6 dropped to 13.6 and then now in float at 13.2 , my garbage (IMHO ) WFCO never did that or brought my batteries up to full charge, very happy with the performance of the Progressive.

Gate latch for the bed, to keep it down while moving just in case the bed lift struts are feeling aggressive. And, it creates lockable storage, though the 1/2" screws would have to be replaced with something stronger if I wanted it more than curiosity resistant.

The bed lift struts with reinforcement on the plywood and the frame below. This was before I added the latch.

Looks great.

I’ve used a headlight restorer product on an older vehicle and found it had to be redone at least twice a year. I wonder if you’ll see the same results on the skylight acrylic.

Looks great do you have any information on the struts you used or did they come with the unit. Thanks

I've also observed that the plastic on older vehicles needs to be maintained more often, once it starts, but I think there's a sealant of some kind that can protect it after having been sanded down.

Thank you itat!
I really liked how the Meguiars headlight restoration Step 2 did on this project. I should have never let my skylight get so oxidized. Shame on me [emoji19]

Skylight

I sprayed about 5 layers of this over the skylight to cutout the direct sun. Someone else on this site recommended this to cutout the direct sunlight shining through. I just did it last weekend so I am not sure how it will hold up but they said they have had it on there for a while. It comes in many colors but I chose white.

I like the idea of the latch. Every once in a while we get to our destination and the bed is lifted up.

I never thought about ripping the skylight! Plasti-Dip usually holds up pretty well, and if it doesn’t it peels right off. How much light does it let through?

Added shelves for 6 pair of shoes and wood shelves for items that I always carry but don't often use like DEF fluid, eternabond, grease for hubs.

For those of you with a victron did you wire the positive to the shutoff or the positive battery post? The only things that bypass my shutoff is the zamp solar connector (not used) and breakaway switch. Curious what kind of battery drain the victron 512 may have.

What type and size bracket did you use for the basement door?
TIA

It was about $6. Used shorter screws than what it came with.
