I washed mine today. I found some streaking from trees above. I still have some Starbrite Hull Cleaner (made for cleaning tannin stains from fiberglass boat hulls) and I used it only where necessary. That stuff is amazing. Use it only where you see brown stains that won’t come off with anything else. Be sure to read the label. Scrubbing is not necessary and ineffective. Rub it on then rinse it off 4-5 minutes later. And wear gloves.

I got tank heaters and heat tape on all exposed pipes installed today. We're now ready for our three week trip to Yellowstone, leaving Wednesday. What a pain that install was!



I also installed a pistol safe on my side of the bed.





The fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate, and it's solid and well built. We liked it so much that we ordered another one for my wife's side of the bed.

When I got some, 2 different old ladies felt compelled to tell me how awesome it was, without me asking at all. I've only used a couple spritzes so far, but it does seem good!

It doesn't... but... most of us have seen the awning fabric move on the roller end which isn't fastened with either a screw or a pop rivet.

From the comments it the post in question, the guy at the campground likely removed the screw on the awning track on the sidewall in an attempt to realign the fabric, which had likely moved on the roller and not the sidewall track, especially since it had a screw in it on the sidewall.

The better repair would have been to move the fabric on the roller end to align (and allow the arms to retract properly) and then secure it with a pop rivet as Witch Doctor suggested.

I usually dilute it one to one but since I thought the roof was pretty dirty I used it straight from the bottle. I sprayed about three feet of roof at a time then used a stiff scrub brush followed by lots of water.

I’m not sure if the LA Awesome would be a problem but I did have a helper on the ground with a second hose constantly rinsing the sides of the coach so the cleaner couldn’t remain in place. I also placed the RV in a spot that kept it right side nose high so the majority of the cleaner ran off the left rear corner.

We decided to sell our TT while the prices were still high so I finally got around to all of the stuff I had been putting off. LOL... Nothing major wrong, just gluing loose trim, cleaning inside & out, waxing, replacing a couple inexpensive cosmetic things, etc.

Purposefully did all of the pricey stuff when we first bought it (gently used) so we got to enjoy the upgrades for the 7 camping seasons we owned it vs. doing that stuff later & not getting money's worth...

When prices drop again, we will likely get a MH next time around for just the 2 of us & dogs... Likely do the same thing again, buy gently used, spend a little extra to make it like we want it, and then enjoy it for a while...

Not today, but a little over a month ago I installed the MORryde steps. My bride had been nagging me all summer to get new steps. I found a screaming deal at Walmart.com for the STP-3-30-04H set that the MORryde Step Qualifier said I needed. Ordered the steps. Had them shipped to the store. Only took 4 days. $257.21 out the door. Install only took about 10 minutes. No space modifications needed. Used them on our last trip out for the season. Wonderful! My bride is happy, but now I'm getting the "what took you so long to get these?"

I completely forgot that the sealer is like grease once applied. it will be interesting putting a new 5th wheel cover on it in 2 weeks.

Repaired trim on one of my slides. Found out the hard way to double check the rear fold-out couch before putting the slide in. Apparently it had bounced out and was not retracted/folded in the whole way. While putting the slide in, heard a loud pop and bang only to see the whole rear trim piece fall on the floor. Was not that hard to repair, but needless to say, I was pissed.

LA Awesome available at all Dollar General stores (over 16,000 of them). I use it diluted 50/50 for just about everything in the MH. My roof is fiberglass so no sealer. I don’t know about non-fiberglass roofs bu I did use it a couple of times on my Vengeance trailer. It had the rubber type roof. I think the main thing about LA is rinse quickly and thoroughly.

The 64 oz bottle has a dilution chart. Not sure about the $1 size.

For seven years we have suffered with the OEM queen mattress. Today I swapped it for a Serta hybrid 10 inch thick queen mattress and two new Serta pillows.
I do still need to replace the lower piece of plywood to support the bottom of the mattress. The old one is an RV queen and the new one is a true queen, so seven inches longer than the old.

Cleaned the cupboards and surfaces, found some mouse crap. Prepping for first outing since the unconstitutional lockdowns. Taking our granddaughter & her dog this time. Just cleared out all the dog stuff after our last dog passed. Mice got into stored dog food ;(

Well I had a water pump fail so I purchased a new one this past week at Gander RV in Navarre, FL. After installing it I found I kept losing prime. So I decided when I got home to my tools Id solve the problem.

The issue was this horrible flex hose with hand tighten ends that had bad seals from age. Rather than replace it I decided to do the plumbers thing and run the pex tubing all the way to the pump intake.

Did that and the pump would not pull the water from the tank to "Self Prime" as it claimed.

So I got creative. I installed a "Tee" in the pex near the pump with a straight 1/4 turn stop. I can get into the pass through, open the stop, suck the water from the tank to prime the pump, close the stop and the pump works again!

You can see the stop at the top of the vertical blue tubing.

I got tired of tripping on the counter top extension and installed it permanently with this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X94DH5Y..._Ku7CFbJ116FPV and removed the leg. Works pretty good but I think I need to put a snap or velcro strap on it to keep it secure.

I also had a smell that I think was the grey tank. DW removed the strainer from the kitchen sink a few trips ago and I was not aware so I did the suds trick after dumping and refilled the tanks halfway and drove home. A few days later (today) I dumped them and now the sensors are actually working...for now.

I put in the slimshade. Workes good so far but you must open the door to raise or lower it because of the screen. I was going to keep the frosted glass but it was a different size and ended up swapping to the smoked glass after all.

I tried swapping a failing awning strut as well but the replacement was not up to the task and could not hold the awning up so I swapped back and returned the strut...

Was time to get rid of the big ugly sun cracked decal on the front of our trailer. Unfortunately, this side gets all the sun in our yard since it faces south. I am going to make a snap in cover for this soon to protect the fiberglass.
