What did you do to your camper today?

1. Washed the complete roof.
2. Lubed all windows.
3. Power washed both sides of the awning.
4. Finished sanding the gel coat with 800 grit.
5. Started cleaning and polishing the aluminum.
6. Most importantly played with (2) of my grand kids!

FINALLY picked up the Flagstaff from storage this morning! Got it home a short time later and started playing with the goodies ;
#1 - New Valterra Stabilizer
#2 - Camco adjustable step support
#3 - MaxxAir Vent
#4 - Level indicators

Still have the air bags to install on the Armada and then adjust the Equal-i-zer. But, no problems bringing the "baby" home and getting it in the driveway. Found the sure-fire way not to heat up the tranny backing the trailer up a slight incline - 4x4 LO! Locks in the torque converter and keeps the tranny cool.

Put all the clean linens back in (from last weekend's trip), came out, looked at 'er and whimpered.

S'ok though, bookin' a site for next weekend today! Another local park we've yet to camp at; Poverty Point Reservoir State Park

DH is playing a golf tournament there this weekend and next weekend at Black Bear Golf Club. He went early and checked out the camp grounds. (there are cabin rentals (cabins are out over the water with raised docks leading to them) there as well, but those are already booked through June!)

There's a Native American burial ground (it's a national monument and the oldest existing mound complex "in the new world) there so while he golfs I'll go visit that. Hard to believe I've lived here most of my life, I'm of strong Cherokee/Ouachita descent and I've never been there.

Soooo come this time next weekend,

Our first seasonal season, its been at the site all winter. Took the cover off, dewinterize it, cleaned up a bit, made the bed and I am wishing we'd spent the night. But we left the dog at home, so we had to come back. Maybe next week!?

Pulled it out of storage and brought it home to wash the exterior and clean the inside. No camping for me this winter due to some medical issues with myself and family. All is well now. The TT had not seen the light of day since Veterans Day weekend and it was covered in a nice blanket of dust. While we had it home we replace the shower head sprayer with an aftermarket version, greased the hubs, bolted a stabilizer jack to the bottom entry step to prevent the new steps from failing as the old one did. I also ran the ac and frig all day and replaced the battery. I'm headed for the coast on Thursday for a long overdue weekend of fun and sun with the DW and kids.

Took it out of hibernation, put the battery back in, washed it, dewinterized, sanitized the fresh water tank and lines. Tomorrow, I'll drain and flush everything and start loading her up.

Then off to the dealer on Monday to get our PDI fix-it list taken care of and right to the campground from there.

And the season begins.

Larry, I saw the picture of the Camco adjustable step "foot" on your later post, and I'm wondering - do you have a 2-step or a 3-step set of stairs on your trailer? I was looking at one of the Camco self-storing legs, but it said the minimum height was 7.25 inches, and I think my bottom step (3-step stair) is already closer than 7 inches to the ground, so that leg won't fit on my steps, assuming level ground. And I don't think there is enough room, given the bracing under there, to put it on the second step.

I dewinterize it.Check the hot water tank made sure it kick on using gas then now going to make sure it comes on using elec.Doing the same for the frig. Then going to fight the stink bugs

I put screens on my hot water and furnace vents. Also used stainless steel wire as I didnt like the springs that came with the kit alone.


Thinking of how to do my fridge vents. I have 2 of them and they are over sized vents.

I also put wire loom on my awning, jack and brake wires.

Put the grill bracket and spare back on the rear bumper.

This weekend I added 2 shelves, cleaned and treated all the slide out rubber seals, lubed the slide tracks, and started moving stuff out of the basement and back into the camper.

Might de-winterize today...or spread mulch. 15 yards worth, ugh

Another coat of graphite paint (mower guard) to the L brackets and spring bars.
Over time the graphite becomes in-bedded in the metal. Its clean, not messy and slick.

Capt., It's a 2-step set. Sitting in the driveway, I've got a pretty decent distance from the bottom step to the ground - also, that's what I find in most places we camp. Couldn't give any suggestions for your application.

I used stainless screen door material and aluminum tape...bought both at Loews or Home Depot...works great, cut to fit on the inside and tape up...very clean look from the outside

3. Packed the wheel bearings.
4. Washed and waxed.
5. Replaced the plastic floor registers with metal closable ones.
6. Built a retractable shelf for the DirectTV receiver. Got tired of tripping over the foot stool we were using.

For some reason I don't know where the weekend went.....

Dang Superman! You're making some of us look bad. By the time I am done with a wash and wax it's usually beer:30 and I'm done.

I checked brake linings, greased axle bearings, got both propane tanks filled, and tried to figure out where to camp Easter weekend.

Im gonna give that a try as I have the screening. With my over size vents its gonna be a little tricky. In other words my vent doors come off just like they all do.But I have vent section left on the sides of where the vent covers go still on the unit.

1 De winterized
2 Started Frig , hot water heater , oven/stove top and A/C all checked out ok
3 Installed new screen cover on screen door so dog does not run into anymore
4 Had some cold ones

Cut Grass

Will wash on Thursday before we live for our trip on Friday
