Just installed 2 grills cut in 6x9 in the side of the fireplace, now I can hear my subwoofer now after 3 years. How they ever expected you to hear it with no grills cut in? Now it sounds great. Thank you Bamabob...

Treated all the rubber and plastic on the outside with 303 Aerospace Protectant. Wow! What a difference. Sorry I didn't learn of this earlier. Thanks to the forum I got educated, and believe me, that's something hard to do! By the way, in regards to the earlier post about the Jack antenna. Yup, I'm a convert too and was blown over by the improved reception.

Sneak washed the 15 trillion BUGS off the front cap and I started muckin' it out.
That was our longest (time wise and distance wise) trip since we got the 5er. EEEP! Lots of unloading to do....dang near needed a front end loader just for the laundry!
Thankful for shore power! I'll do it all a little at a time....

Now Sneak has to unload the basement, dis-assemble the drawer and paint it and make a plywood insert for the plastic junk sump by the door and then re-assemble it, re-load it and rearrange the rest. Keep him off the golf course or it won't get done before PF later this fall.

LOL YEP, but ya gotta give him credit for de-buggin' it this morning. He was gonna play golf this afternoon (he goes back to work tomorrow). Got all his "three S's" done, then BOOM! Thunder and rain. awwwww poor Sneak.
He DID say yesterday (about the slider) as we were breakin' camp: "I'm REALLY liking this set-up. This is *really* nice."
He's headed out now to pick up Chelsea. He's got my vehicle blocked in and she can't get up into his truck like she can my Jeep. She weighs more than the doc allows me to lift.
As dog tired as we both were when we got home last night, I'm glad he went ahead and got Buffy backed in and hooked up. We almost just backed 'er in to the driveway and crashed. Also glad we didn't stay an extra day. Today is his "battery re-charge" day before walking in to what will be like jumping into a blender at work in the morning.
HEY, what are those retention pins called? The ones you put in our bumper ends. Those things are the bee's knees!

I finally got up on the roof, took the damaged shower skylight off and installed the new one. My back is killing me and now that I have seen the roof, I know I have to go backup and clean it.

Ordered more crap from Amazon. I hate that place...
Max air cover, King antenna deal, a/c cover, quick disconnect set for lp(working on grill set-up from trailer), pull type landing gear pins(I am old), and I think that was it... Love that prime though. CW has the king on sale, but with shipping and 5-7 days I paid a few dollars more and will have for Wednesday....and hence the weekend.

Thanks for the Link OC! Looks like this is what we will be having installed as well!

That is one sweet mod Tim! Does the grill swing around and store on/around the back bumper?

Radio & TV Signal Boosters
We usually get pretty good HD TV reception (we will see HOW good this weekend when we camp at a remote CG )
Saw this pop up ad for a new wineguard toy - anyone have any experience with it?
Winegard Rayzar Air Amplified TV Antenna
The one thing that REALLY needs improvement on our rig is radio reception! That wimpy antenna on the side is almost worthless and because of our setup, wiring to the TV Antenna is a no-go.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas on boosting Radio reception by modding the current Radio antenna?

My antenna found a limb right away.. I covered the hole and put an eBay inside antenna on mine...it works pretty good. It was a strip type stick on I put inside the entertainment cabinet. I didn't want to drill holes in the cabinet. Good news...cheap and you can try the proposed area before committing. I think it was $5

Look like this is a new product as of June. Here on another forum is some information that you might like. I went with the Jack and have been very happy, but that doesn't mean I can't be happier. Let us know if you try it.

Thanks for the idea!
Sorry about your Antenna!
At least this did not happen to you

One thought about the replacement you got - I suspect it is not HD (and we have a HDTV)
This is what he have as a "reminder" for our antenna. When properly stowed, it lives on the handle to our wardrobe...when Antenna is extended it is hooked on the handle (you can buy these from Amazon et al - ours came from a F111 )

Re-installed the awning lock removed in Goshen when they replaced the motor. We're now ready to go whenever, wherever we decide except loading perishables.

Ordered a new kitchen window as the old one shattered for no apparent reason, only $400😡. Got a new electric griddle for $20, so I guess that balances out?

I ordered a small decal, in RED, 1" high letters, and placed it on the bottom of our RV door window (outside):
antenna down
Since putting the steps up, locking the door and folding the hand rail in is the last thing we do before towing, and placing it at that location puts it right at eye level, we are always reminded.
We use the King jack antenna head and it took us from 8 channels to 18 channels. About a 15 minute job to swap it out. CW messed up and shipped us two of 'em, so one is still sitting in the box it shipped in.
