Had her washed yesterday at the truck wash, today I'll start getting a coat of wax on her. When the waxing is done we will be getting her loaded up and plan on heading out about mid week or so next week. The plan is to put about 1200 + miles or so on the Rockwood leaving Texas for Hot Springs Ar, Little Rock Ar, Memphis Tn, Tupelo Ms and back home. Plan on visiting Graceland and the birthplace of the King. Plan on about three weeks out or so stopping and spending time where ever we want. Our last trip of the year is planed for mid November heading south to Galveston and Corpus Christi returning sometime in January, we have family in So Tx. Going to give these new tires a workout.

I guess they laugh when it's 99* and 80% humidity down here!

Same here. The temps and humidity are at some of their best right now with cool mornings that allow a morning hike to be enjoyable.

Yes indeed! When people ask about a "4 season" camper I always tell them ours is only 3, Fall, winter and spring!

Finally......
I finally got some mods OC did for me finished. I primed and painted the step extension (what an awesome piece of gear) and tapped and mounted the tailgater. I had taken the tailgater to a welder and had an extension put on OC sent me. I can't wait to use this next weekend at the ball game. Keeps me from having to climb up on the roof and sit the tailgater up there. Both mods are awesome. Thanks OC!!

Huh? Nope, these weren't pointed out to me in the PDI for my 1st ever 5th wheel.
Say what? Nope, I didn't know to ask and it wasn't on my PDI checklist.

I found those too! A tube of grease per side do it?

Another thing that works great and you would not think of using it because it just never enters the thought train to think of. Fabric dryer sheets. Love bugs, and other bug stuff just rubs off easy. Did this when we washer our camper in the mid summer months after going in the early spring and from the fall of the year before.
Love using this inside of the camper for the clean smell.

I did what I didn't want to winterize it .Now I have to clean it up and put my baby away.I have to get antifreeze for the traps or buy windshield washer fluid which is cheaper.

Well looks like there may be a change in travel plans. DW has been watching the Roosevelt series on the Television, starting to look like we are going to be heading to Mt Rushmore. I'll report our destination as soon as I am sure if we will be going north or east. Got one side waxed

Just went out and looked at my landing gears and what d'ya know. Each one has a zerk fitting! Never knew that and have never seen it written in any service manual, but you have to figure that if the manufacturer installed zerks that you should grease them from time to time. Now I have something to do tomorrow after all.

On our last trip when I turned on the propane there was a strong odor of propane and I've never had this happen before. Put soapy water all over the hoses and couldn't find a leak yet could still smell propane. Shut the tank off and smell went away so left propane off for rest of trip. Since nothing on the tanks bubbled with the soapy water and I couldn't find a leak I had to guess I got a new regulator and installed it. When finished propane was turned on and no smell and soapy water on connections no bubbles. I did notice one thing before when I shut the propane off the gauge would turn red again now it stays clear till you turn on the stove or another appliance.

What did you do to your camper today?
Installed LED's on the awning today- didn't finish running all the wires cause didn't like the on/off switch I had. Ordered different that is supposed to pulse and dim but we will see. Measured new shelf for entertainment center. Tested parallel kit for generators and scratching head on this one- look at my other posting in electrical for PI and 2 eu2k problem for possible help.
