Howdy folks, looks like we have a little clean up to do on this thread.

While all that clean up works going on, if we could stay on topic it could save the site team a bunch of work.

Thanks
Happy camping

Read somewhere that someone had installed a motion detector light to replace the patio light. Ordered one, got it (when the temps were in the teens) and going to work on it tomorrow in our sweltering mid-50 degree weather in Missouri. Gives us a chance to run the generator and check out things, too. Bring on the Spring!!!

Folks, if you dont see your post it has been deleted. (too far off topic)

For members interested in propane topics: I recommend starting a new thread, or do a frf search key word propane.

Please post on topic

Thank you for your understanding

Just ordered a couple of Honda 2000 generators and got a Verizon Jetpack for the internet in prep for a snow bird winter. Heading to Arizona and maybe try some dry camping.

Went to the RV show in Grand Rapids, Michigan today. Great show and lots of rigs to look at. Didn't find anything that knocked my socks off, so guess I'll keep what I have.

We are camping in it!!!! Actually the heater quit working during the night. DH went out and checked the propane at 4am and said all was good. We went back to bed and woke back up 3 hrs later even colder. I turned the electric fireplace on and went investigating. Turns out what he said was all good was a green indicator on an empty tank. I fiddled around and switched it to the other tank (which had frost on it) and got it running again. See who needs men to fix things.

I spoke too fast. It's not fixed. Back to the job at hand. Guess we will be fixing this at the campsite today. Good thing I'm close enough to home to go grab the space heaters.

Try unhooking your propane hose at the tank.rehook and turn on about a half turn slowly. If you have the new style valve it might be locked up.

Think this is a different issue concerning propane. Tank changeover, it sounds like. Spring anyone?!?

It was about 40 degrees around 9am. I plugged it in at my garage and fired up the furnace. All I wanted to do today was check for problems. Haven't found any and it seems to be wintering well out here in the open. However, I did not go up on the roof. There is ice up there from a tiny bit of snow and a lot of melt coming from the rain gutters. Looks all good for now!

I went to pick it up today. Notice, I said went.

It's at the dealer finally getting it's warranty items sorted (This has gone on for six months now.) and they called me stating it was ready. 80 Mile drive there, I tell them I want to inspect it before they even pull it up front.

Good grief, that work was so shoddy it was laughable. I mean seriously. Got onto the service writer, who then got the service manager involved, who apologized profusely and said they'll make it right. So I left it there, 160 mile round trip, afternoon on a beautiful Saturday wasted.

It's a great camper, and I really like the thing, but the overall ownership experience has been lacking to say the least.

So what is that going to mean?

And how much is 2 round trips going to cost them? They'd charge you if they came to you for work!

At least get a new Rhino hose out of them for your trouble.
