I went to my dealership's service department and got a couple of items out of the trailer and then listened to what all they think they have fixed and what they think they lack. Tried to open a slide to get my items and the battery was stone cold dead. They said it had been plugged in to shore power until about Tuesday. Shop foreman had no clue why the battery was dead... said he'd install a new one of this one wouldn't take a charge.

Moved the on/off electric switch on the water heater from outside on the water heater to inside in my control panel on our 2014 Silverback 33RL.

Swift 2. I have ordered an AC/DC 4 wire meter that was on the FR site. It looks like just what I wanted except it came with NO instructions (schematic ) Can anybody out there help me with the wiring? Looks like it has a CYB yb5135d-v1.3 on the board. It's about 1 1/2"high by 2 1/2"long.

Dropped ours off at a dealer today. Small laundry list of repairs and a minor damage repair from our "neighbor" at the storage lot. Non selling dealer, they seem very helpful. I'll be sure to let you know how they do. Gotta get ready to head to FL next month.

Inspected the front cap and roof seal and then went out for a drive in this lovely 70-degree weather! Spring fever has set in even more!!!

I dug a path to the door thru the snow and counted light bulbs for my LED upgrade.

I made a new airflow baffle for the Dometic fridge in our TT.
This will increase airflow through the condenser and make it easier for the fridge to maintain cold inside temps on hot days.

Write up with pics is here.

Spent all day cleaning out the pink stuff from my plumbing. When I pressure tested it from the pump I found the low point drain leaking, a fitting was bad. I went to Camping World, they didn't have it so I went to Lowes. I cut off put 2 metal valves on the end of the Pex and used pex rings and clamp to secure. Now to drain low points I flip the valve.

I cleaned tested and drained the water heater.

After I got the system pressurized and tested I drained and blew it out to prepare for a trip next weekend.

Now for the stupid move of the day. I grabbed the slide remote and closed the slide from the outside of the coach not realizing a door inside was open. I heard cracking and banging and went inside to investigate. I found the door was jamming against my dinette seat and it pulled away from the slide and other damage to trim. I got the screwdrivers, nails and hammer, disassembled the seat, repaired it screwed it back in and nailed what I needed to. It is back together and slide is in. I feel like throwing that remote away!

Moved the electric rear stabilizer jack switch from the front battery compartment on our 5th wheel to the rear panel on the side just above the rear jacks....much easier to watch them extend and retract now.....next, will be installing awning lights.

Installed a 50 amp surge protector which I was kind of reluctant to do but like a home, any park is subject to voltage problems which could damage the coach as well as my valuable electronics inside.....it may never happen though now self insured so to speak if only for a year as what is the warranty on the device....afterwards, it's a crap shoot again.

You can't win either way. Operate it from the outside and you tear off a door. Operate it from the inside and you hit a tree.

Very true. I will probably use the remote for extending and switch inside for retracting.

I installed a shelf in an excessively large cabinet that had no shelf. I also packed, and will be hooking up on Tuesday, for departure to Daytona on Wednesday. Buggity, Buggity, Buggity.

Installed the same hardwired 50 amp Surge Guard surge protector in our 2014 Silverback 33RL as soon as we got it home last October....also installed the remote to go with it in my control panel so I can watch voltage and amperage on each line.....we had had the 30 amp in our Jayco TT that we traded.....just feel safer with them to protect everything.

Ugh, you suck. I'm supposed to be doing the same thing. Good thing my dealer is taking their sweet time.

Installed 1 of 3 Fan-Tastic Vents. Ran the Onan generator for an hour and made some measurements for future projects.

What I did

CHF. Also split the cable in, at the antennae booster to be able to hook the satellite up to the cable in on the motor home.
