Well I started de-winterizing ours today.No broken pipes and every thing was good,until,I started the water pump.I guess I didn't get it blown out.I took the front off and found about a 1" split in the front of the casing.Super glue to the rescue.Dabbed it in the case and some on the outside.Works like it should now.I get the DA of the day award.

Haven't had that problem yet, but would it be possible to add a pvc sleeve to it for reinforcement?

If you're good with a soldering iron, clean the soldering iron tip real good and very carefully heat weld the crack and then heat weld a strip over the original crack.

Coot,that's a good idea.If this doesn't hold,I'll be giving it a try.The glue I used is some we bought at the home show here last year.I've fixed my cell phone holder three times in different places with it.It doe super job holding anything I've used it on.

I did like OC is talking about to the gray water tank on our previous 5er. Crack was about 4" long. First I drilled a 1/8" hole at each end of the crack. then I used an old milk jug cutting strips of plastic 1/4" wide and welded it over the crack melting it into the plastic. Then I cut a strip of plastic from the jug 1" bigger all the way around and welded that over the area. 2 years later when we sold the Cougar still no leak from that tank. Cost to repair $0.00, time to repair about 2 hrs.

Picked up a few more items for the new trailer today. Surge Guard, 50a extension, 2 new water hoses, sewer hose extension, new short 45° sewer pipe, 2 black ultra breeze vent covers, 30a to 50a dogbone, pizza stone, JT strong arm kit, lube plate, and tire covers.

Waiting on parts from B&W to finish the hitch install. Can't wait to pick up the trailer so I can empty my basement and garage!

Removed a small, 10"x30" roll around table from the camper and took the top/legs/collar off in preparation to make it into a flip up shelf under the window. Had used (2 yrs) the table to set our printer on which now resides on the new Eden Pure heater TOWTA ordered (don't ask me why, the old one was still working great and now resides in the garage).

After 15 months I started removing all those ugly stickers that FR stuck all over. The vent a hood was covered and removed a bunch from outside curb side. Removed 16 stickers and glue residue so far and about that many more to remove.

If you're not already, use a hair dryer to warm up the decal about six inches at a time, that will minimize the adhesive that's left behind. 3M adhesive remover will easily take care of the rest.

Checked the DOT dates of our OEM tires and they are all dated mid to end of 2013 - not too bad. Will still change them out for LR D tires before our big Florida trip in September but probably not before our April trip.

Yesterday, I pulled off the cover and tire covers, checked tire pressure, went inside and closed up the Damp Rid containers, and secured the few loose containers from movement in preparation to bring it home from winter storage this weekend...

Today, the first day of Spring, IT IS BEING SNOWED ON....AGAIN. UGH.

I have been using a hair drier, works quite well. Also acetone works well to remove any residue left behind.

Know this won't work for everyone or everywhere , but add a second 30A service to the trailer in the garage part of the toy hauler for the second fridge, ice maker & the second AC............ it is totally indenendant of the main power system.
