It shuts the water off like the original factory shower head did which is what I wanted, so yes, it does make a difference.

My wife and I lifted and mixed in a wheelbarrow. We looked into having a truck come, but this was the cheaper route.

A shutoff that doesn't dribble was hard to find, but we have been using the Positive Shower Shut-Off on this page in case anyone else is looking too.

No issues for us in our current or last rig with water temperature, and I like not wasting water between soaping and rinsing. These go in between the hose and shower head, so you can use them with any head you like.

I hear you and my hat is off to you and your wife. In my younger years, I would have done the same, but now, we just save our money to pay to have it done or do without. It's hell gettin' old, sure found out it's not for the timid.

Got a buddy, retire Army LtCol that always says nothing good happens to the body after 50. I am two years away and am starting to get nervous.

It's pretty bad when you know to the inch where every rest stop is and how much beverage can be consumed between them!

Well at least installed today. . .

I wanted to flip the stereo cabinet face and open the wasted space for storage. The cheap rails/stiles were torn to pieces behind the stereo by the factory installers. I ended up making a new cabinet face and boxing in the new open storage space.

Started like this:

Original cabinet without the stereo:

Looks good and you gained more storage, which is always needed.

I extricated a large bird nest from the back side of my pin box! It had to have been less than 2 weeks old.

I replaced the broken toilet foot/flush valve and then finally installed OC's awning hold down brackets and my painter poles. This weekend I will be installing my LED awning lights.

This was done in less than 12 hours. Left the bag chair outside, leaned up against the TT and this bird worked while we were sitting in our recliners.

Thanks! The face is 1x2 poplar because I had it on hand and it is light. The corner bracing is 1x1 pine. That panels were the thinnest hardwood plywood HD had and are about 3/16" after sanding. The stain is Minwax Gel Stain (swear by it) in Cherrywood and I always use Minwax pre-stain for even coverage. Some square head cabinet screws and pin nails and that's it. Less than $30 out of pocket and some of my time.

Last year I had a Robin make a nest 3 times on the tire of my truck in one day, every time I took it down she came back. Funny but not high off the ground to make it safe from predators.

Nice Truck, what year was the old and what genus the new one? I was looking at old F350 Diesels Crew cab SRW AWD but even a 2008 is fetching $30-$40K so I think I am going to buy my F150 EB Crew off of Ford at the end of the lease, just love the Torque the V6 Twin Turbos deliver and I am only towing 6,000#'s truck is rated for 11,300#'s
