If installation is tricky- I'd go for the SteadyFast. There are just 3 braces and you can do 2 in front and 1 rear; or vice versa - 1 in front and 2 rear. You have flexibility with the install.

Traded for a bit larger unit.....but not sure for which. It's down to a 2016 wildwood 27rkss or a cherokee 274rk.
The 274 has the limited package, rear rack, undercounter seamless countertop, wood blinds in the slide out and an outside shower. Also has 2 recliners.
The wildwood is 2700 more cash and is missing the items above but adds a larger grey tank, big plus, also has electric jacks with a wireless touchscreen remote. This one has swivel rockers instead of recliners but has a full foot more room at the foot of the bed than the cherokee.
Any suggestions?

Thanks. I think larger tanks are the way to go, wife wants it now though. Looks like the 27rkss is on order and the 274rk is available.
Looks like I'll be making more trips to dump. lol

Took Flagstaff to the dealer for ANOTHER new awning - second awning for this unit in less than 2 years.
First was my fault - tried to take the rear supports off the power awning with a 4x4 along a campground road. Not used to the longer trailer after pulling a Roo 23SS. This time, had a torrential downpour and maybe a micro-burst with awning extended (OC's brackets held up!) - pulled awning fabric out of aluminum roller tube and tore stitching.
Big KUDOS, again, to Scott and his crew at Keystone RV of Greencastle, PA. Got me in and out in little over 4 hrs.

Was it the weight of water that did it? Or was it the wind that tore the awning?

We (myself, DW & 26 year old son) feel it was a micro-burst. The end that pulled from the roller was on the upper end of the slanted awning for the water to drain off. However, the support pole (Blue Hawk painter extension poles) bent about one foot below the roller. So, it could have been a combination. Fortunately, about 2' of the awning pulled out of the roller, which allowed us to still use the awning until it was replaced. Funny thing is - this happened at the same campground where I hit the 4x4 pole almost 20 months earlier. Also, I've made heavier poles now.
Upside? I was going to have to replace the non-power end of the roller and patch the awning. Seems as though something hit the awning close to the end, ripping a hole in the awning, and broke the white housing at the torsion end while the trailer was in storage over the winter. Of course, no one took responsibility. I'll have proof, if there ever is a next time.

Lots of little things..... Recently....I put up a tub surround, I didn't care for the vinyl wallboard that was there so I covered it with heavy vinyl made for shower stalls.

Washed it yesterday, waxed it today. All told, about six hours of work. Ugh.
