What did you do to your camper today?

I have been having trouble keeping the TT level when camping. I get everything set level by using the wheels, once level side to side I get the front to rear level then I lower the power jacks down, giving then pressure on the wood pads. After everything is stable I extend the slide.

A day or two later I notice the camper being off level on the rear, slide side. I have had to jack up the axles one at a time, add another shim under the tire to level I again. I can understand at the beach on a sandy site but in the mountains?

Does the slide throw the level off that much?

I have to tighten up our jacks pretty frequently. Guess everything settles...

Added kitchen grey water slide valve near the front grey/black valves to keep from hav'n to crawl under slide .......went fairly easy. Best part...was cheap.

Yep. Have you checked level-ness immediately after deploying your slide?

Would be interested in more detail on this mod.
Did you leave the existing valve in place, and then just attach to the hose connection (with flex hose or solid pipe?) ?
Or did you splice into the existing pipe and add a T piece and then use solid pipe to go to your new drain valve?

Yes, left all of the factory plumbing in tact and usable. Used 1 1/2" ABS pipe........Drilled a 1 1/2" thru kitchen pipe between valve and cap at 9 o'clock ( toward front of trailer), glued a short piece of pipe into this, then a reducer to accept a 1" ID. hose..I've got tork-flex axles that mount to square tubing that's open on both ends.....ran the hose inside tubing...biggest hose that would fit....at the front, bored another hole in factory plumbing at the 3 o'clock position, glued a 1 1/2 " stub there, added a slide valve, then another hose barb. One could pull the kitchen grey valve before open'n slide and use the 1 1/2 slide valve to dump kitchen...because I had the hose and clamps and glue, cost was under $25.00, and got the slide valve at local RV store.

That's my guess. We generally level so that my slide-side is slightly high and so that it has a little room to settle. It gets us closer to "level" when we are all setup.

How well does it drain with just 1" hose?
I was imagining another 4" pipe with regular dump valve etc

Cool, I'm going to see if this will work on my 3008W. Would need to run from the front to the back though instead back to front.

I wonder if filling your grey tank is causing your level to get off?? Putting a couple hundred pounds of water in the tank could be your problem if the tank is in the "correct" place.

I forced a 1-1/2" pvc tube thu mine and it's worked great for 3+ years. Doesn't completely drain the rear tank, but I really don't care, the regular drains don't completely drain the other tanks either.

TOWTA has sure liked ours ever since I did it 2+ yrs ago. I even used a micro switch on the door so when the door is opened the lights come on.

Got my white powder coated awning de-flapper poles from TURBS today and will probably mount them tomorrow if it doesn't rain. I will make a special bottom bracket to permanently attach them to the awning struts. I wrapped the ends of the inner pole with the fuzzy Velcro and also the inside of the end of the outer poles to take up the slack and prevent scratching the nice powder coating.

Inside of outer poles must have been a little dirty from the looks of the inner pole Velcro.

Been working the last few days giving the RV a good polishing. I'm about 1/2 way around it, a few more days and it will shine like a new diamond. 95º here today and the last few days have been in the 90's. The next 7 to 10 does promise more of the same, only work on the RV a couple of hours in the early morning.
