I am going to try to post some pictures of the brakes. Looks like it finally worked.

Ditchdigger, can you explain that last picture with the pinbox?
For me, I installed a storage box onto my rear bumper.
The box is cheap and will store my sewer accouterments (campsite elbow, donut, wye, XXL ZipLoc bag for filling with water if I need weight for my sewer connection).
It's not much, but it'll free up some space from the basement.

That is my patent. It is a Fifth Wheel Hitch Hoist. It is how I get my hitch off my truck without braking my back. I hope to have it on the market within a year or two. I want to find a company to manufacture and distribute it.

I'm putting money on NO. I think some square U-bolts would work better long term.

We are gonna find out. I'm thinking yes since there's little weight to it.

Is this one of the new methods for your trailer to lose weight?

It will be even lighter when the wind rips it off.

Finished the install of my Fence-post Sewer-hose storage mod this morning.
Photos here: -

Also installed the Furrion observation/backup camera, which seems good thus far (haven't actually towed with it yet tho', that'll be Friday). Just need to work out where to mount the monitor when towing
Yesterday ordered a digital thermostat to replace the analog slider one. Hope to install that in the next few days, depending on when it arrives.

Steps Repaired
Replaced all the rivets in our steps with Grade 8 bolts, flat washers, and lock nuts.....It sure is a surprise when you're climbing the steps into your Silverback 33RL and they fall out from under you....not good on an old 68 year old....looks like the manufacturer could come up with something better that those soft rivets that didn't take much to knock out.
