Windjammer3001W/V-Lite30WRLS Question

I have a question for owners of Windjammer 3001W or V-Lite 30WRLS.

When I had my PDI for my 3001W, I asked how the Lazy-Boy recliners should be placed for travel. The tech that gave me the PDI said he "thought" the recliners should be back to back with the lamp table in between. This does work, but I need to be very careful when extending or retracting the slide. Also with the blind pulled all the way down I have noticed the recliners rubbing the blinds. So I have been leaving the blinds up just above the chairs.

Just wondering if any of the owners of these models have found a better solution?

We actually put the recliners back to back like you, but we put the lamp table in the bedroom for traveling.

We put the recliner furthest from the door upside down on the couch. If you look behind and under the couch, there should be straps to hold it in place.

We put the one furtherest from the door right in front of the rear door and the table goes in the bedroom right between the bed and the bathroom door per the dealer walk through. BTW the straps by the couch are there to hold the couch in place when traveling not hold a chair. Just a note, we had started leaving the table in the LR behind the slide when it was in and on the trip to Indiana this summer the table flipped due to some terrible roads and destroyed the lamp. That was driving at 55 to so I would be real careful how you pack the chairs in these things.

We have a v-lite 30wfkss, I put the chair backs agains the window pull the blinds to the top of chair and use the provided strap to tie in place. We have never had a problem this way and everything stays in place.

We pull the one furthest from the door in front of the rear door also. We had been leaving the table but after reading TheSasks post I may have to reconsider that now.

Thanks, I'm going to try this. I have been placing a large dog kennel in front of the door next to the cabinets. Maybe putting the kennel where the furthest chair is now and the chairs in front of the door (back to back) will work.

Pulling the blinds up works, I just don't like the chairs up against the window and the sun beating on the leather.

I tried putting the kennel where the furthest chair is now and the chairs in front of the door (back to back) with the table between the chair backs. Works great for me, Thanks for the input...
