Traveling back to Illinois from Florida. Would like to take I95 to South and North Carolina thrue Smoky MT. Any suggestions great places to stay and see. THANKS
Smokemont loop F has really nice sites for RVs. I also like Elkmont and Cade's Cove. Hike the Alum Cave Bluff trail on your way through and you won't be disappointed. If you're adventurous and can snag a reservation Cataloochee is really nice, especially if you have bicycles with you to ride through the valley, but the road in is really sporty and impossible with too big a rig.
