I know the felling, driving straight through to Myrtle Beach and back is very stressful and towing makes it worst. I am happy you and your family are back and safe and hopefully you all had a great time.

Our site at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground at Disney.
This was a blindside back-in. And notice the tree on the right side. It just so happens to be RIGHT where the front of the truck needs to be for a good swing. It had been hit several times judging by the scrapes. It took a bit to get into this site.

thats a nice looking campsite
and the family looked like they had fun, all smiles.
good to see

your tire: did you hear it go thump thump or catch it at a stop?
that could have been UGLY if it let go.

Yeah the campsite was very nice. Just a PITA to get into. We went around the loop we were in and our site was the most difficult to get into in our opinion.

We had a BLAST at Disney. Just not enough time in the day or as many days as you need or as much money in your wallet to get done what you want to.

No thump thump on the tire. The tire was the driver's side front. Right behind ALL the plumbing. It would have been a mess had it let go. I'm thinking the tire got damaged when we were leaving our 1st fuel stop outside of Little Rock, Arkansass. I had to cut a turn in the parking lot and ran over a curb but I took it real easy and it's not like I've never run over a curb before. It made it almost 300 miles after the curb with no issue. We caught the tire problem at Arkabutla. Tricia was attempting to put in our sissor wedge stabilizer and it wouldn't fit. She thought she was doing something wrong. I took a look at the tire and noticed it was out of round. After it cooled down a bit Mike and I changed it out with one of my spares (I always carry 2 spares for the trailer). The next day we went into Memphis and got it replaced. I called up Discount Tire where I bought that tire from and they told me to bring them the receipt from the new tire and they would reimburse me because they didn't have any stores in Mississippi. I'll keep y'all posted on that to see if they honor that. I'm sure they will. They are a good company to deal with and I've spent LOTS of money with them.

Did you visit the Fort Wilderness Lodge? We were there in 2000 our 3rd camping trip and spent 14 days there. The lodge was cool and the kids liked there pool.

Naw. We pretty much lived at the theme parks. When we weren't at one we were resting up to go back.
