My wife, our youngest daughter, her boyfriend and I just completed our first RV trip. It was a 31 day cross country trip that included 17 states, 13 national parks and 8800 miles. The entire trip was put together during the last 5 months once I found out my daughter was leaving for two years in early July for the Peace Corp (Tanzania) and her boyfriend is leaving for the Marines later this year.
It wasn't our typical vacation since we were up at 6 and dinners were late evenings at best, but we hiked trails in all 13 national parks, saw some amazing sights and wildlife and had truly the best time together. Since we started our journey on May 18th (early in the summer season) I was able to find CG or boondock as we went along. The only thing I regret about this trip was that I didn't keep a journey along the way. There were so many great things and people along the way I wish I would have documented it all. My daughter did a great job capturing the action and posting it on FB which helped keep our family and friend informed.
The RV was new to us and learned a lot on the road with all your help along the way. This forum is a great resource. I have learned so much but I know there is so much more to learn, like how/what do I maintain with RV in my driveway for the next month before we get out again? Should I do anything special with the black (no solid waste - I hope) and gray tanks?
Thanks for your support in the past and continued support as I learn more!

PS: I have included some pic but couldn't figure out how to rotate some of them.
