Florida Campground Advice Needed

Hello all - I am looking for any and all input on campgrounds near Stuart FL. We need to go there around July 4 07 to have what may well be our last visit with Mother in law who's health is failing due to MS. DW looked up Pitchford's in Jensen Beach and would like to know about that or any other suggestions. Full hook up is best but not a must. We will need electric for AC but can work off the tanks for water.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

We are also going to Florida, and received valuable info from AAA Campground books which are free to AAA members. Gives rates and tells about the park. If you are not a member of AAA if you know someone who is they could get them for you.

Where exactly is Stuart, FL? Gulf side, Atlantic side? I am not familiar with it or Jensen Beach....but we LOVE Florida!

Stuart is on the Atlantic shore about 40 miles North of West Palm Beach. Jensen Beach is just near Stuart. I've only been there twice for visits with my Mother in law who is in long term care with MS so not a lot of recreational time spent except one dip in the ocean which felt great after a long cold winter! From what I saw it seems like a nice quiet area.

Jonathan Dickinson State Park is on Rt 1 just south of Stuart ....

We haven't stayed there ourselves, as we have family in the area, but friends visited us and stayed there with their Airstream, and really liked it ...
