Highway safety
Not sure as to which area of the country to log this into, so I'm hoping many will be able to read. We were returning home yesterday afternoon on Interstate 91 North in Vermont when I could see many red flashing lights ahead, but in the south bound lanes (very wide divided interstate in that area). As we passed, the north bound lanes were just high enough for us to look over to the south bound side and saw a Walgreen's semi off the right side of their lanes, a pickup with camper missing the left rear corner and about 10' of siding! On the late news, we heard that the camper rig had pulled over for a trailer tire blowout and the semi later clipped it. Luck was with them as no one was injured ~ maybe everyone was off the road & out of the tow vehicle. Oh, no ~ there isn't a scenic pull off, parking area or anything else along that area where the camper could have 'limped' a bit farther. Everyone, be safe out there!
