Kathryn Abby Hanna Park

Anyone ever camped at this park in Jacksonville, FL? Looking to any tips or info. Apparently it is on a dog-friendly beach!

Leash law applies

I live about 5 miles from Hanna Park, dogs are allowed but on a leash of 8'.

Katheryn Abby Hanna Park & Beach
Is it a nice park? Have you camped there?

My girls aren't allowed off-leash unless it's a fenced in area where it's allowed. They probably won't swim though- they are little (under 15 pounds) and the waves will probably scare them.

Sorry I can't help you with the dogs, but we spent a few days there a couple of years ago and would definitely stay there again. Well wooded and lots of privacy.

Well, we are packing up for our firs trip there now. I just made the trip to Camping World to buy a surge protector. We meant to order it from Amazon- but now it's too late even with Prime- so we have to deal with paying a little more. Anyways, we are so excited!

Just been there for the 4th time.bVery nice place and love to stay a couple minutes from the beach. Like was said very wooded with big old oaks. Don't forget your beach fishing gear.

We made it! We arrived after the deadline because it took us a long time to hitch up. Especially because we accidentally hitched up someone else's trailer first. Luckily, I noticed before we left that the trailer we hitched has a paper tag and ours has a regular one. Otherwise they were identical. Will definitely be more observant in the future.

After our first flub, we did well. We were able to hitch up, tow, and set up our Vera. And we're both alive to tell about it!

We got to the park late so it was already dark. We can't really tell much about the cg yet but the sites seem decently private. They are all full hook up according to the guy at the gate.

We went on the trip and were successful in handling Vera. Not much to say. We ended up having to euthanize our dog on Saturday.

We did not see much of the park/campground.
