Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse donate money & they will take you up to the top to touch his nose, Wall Drug, Deadwood, Devil's Tower, Sturgis...just so you can say you went there, Badlands, Custer NP & Wind Cave NP. Did this trip with our 15 year old...Badlands was his favorite. We will do this same trip again with our 7 year old on our way to Yellowstone.

the4 badlands have some beautiful country .can be very hot . i went one yr and it was 115 . wall drug is a worthwhile stop if you're on a motorcycle in a 115 heat and need to cool off . otherwise it's pretty much a waste of time . there is plenty to do in the area . most places have been mentioned . it's much more fun on a motorcycle
Made it here a day early, our reserved site was open so we are good. This area is VERY beautiful. We got here early enough to do the wildlife loop, not as many animals as Yellowstone but nice. We are here till the 15th, then down thru Colorado. Thanks for all the feed back.
