Need To Re-Think This

In a little over a week we will be heading out of Minnesota for Little Rock, Arkansas. This spring when we made these plans it sounded like a pretty good idea to move our Bird down there and store it where our son and family just moved to. We travel in the winter and it’s really hard to load up and drive when it’s cold and snowy roads. Last year below 0 when we started. So we thought we would miss this by storing our rig in Little Rock and heading out for the winter from there. Now we will be winterizing when it’s in the 100’s. We’d change the date, but we made arrangement to meet some RV friends from Settle in Branson and the dates are firm. Next year we’ll get it right, I hope.

I checked to see how much our dealer wanted to add a 2nd AC, just under $1,000. We haven't needed it during our winter travels, but that's a lot on money to just use for one month. If it's get to bad, we will stay with the kids.

Stay cool everyone.

Take an oscillating fan along. With the one AC and the extra air movement it may not be too bad. Way cheaper for a one time shot than $1000. Have a great trip and keep cool!!

We're going to give it a try and see. I think during the hottest part of the day we will find a cool spot.

Just so we can sleep.
