Our favorite dry camping spot

Our last outing...

One of our favorite dry camping areas about 1.5 hours from home. Set up camp in the meadow. On the 2nd to last day a guy came around to chat. Said they had planned on camping where we were but saw us there and decided to move down the road but there was a trailer parked there with no vehicle or anyone around. They had set up there but a day later the trailer owner came back and was ticked that someone had set up camp where he was trying to save space for all his friends. I told them we had no such objections so bring your rigs and set up with us! So they did. They formed a circle around the camp fire with 3 motorhomes and we made some new friends. Had a great time talking with them and came to find out we had many common friends in the Jeepn' community, small world. Headin' back over there in the morning again for 3 more nights.

Saw the buck and the elk out exploring with the Jeep on the first night.

If you hear a soft, far off cryin' sound at night, don't be alarmed. It's just my spirit wishing I was there!

Looks like a great spot. Thanks for the pics.

That makes two of us but mine will be a bit more faint. I'm on the East Coast.

NWJeeper as always some great pictures. Thanks for sharing them.
