See Your Campsite before you book

See your campsite before you book at this link. Photos of all the campsites in private and public campgrounds. It's awesome. Just wanted to share it.

Washington and Oregon State Parks recervations websites have been showing photos of each site in every park for quite a few years.

That site sent me a TShirt for submitting photos.
At the time I was offered something like $50 for the first 50 pics and then a bit for each additional.
We went to Oxbow.

We stayed overnight at Roosevelt State Park in Morton, MS. They had no pics of the sites but I wanted something to close to the interstate so took a chance. We were pleasantly surprised but know that won't always be the case.

I usually just do Google Earth ..... gives a more wide view of what's around them.

That's nice. Unfortunately private campgrounds are way behind the times and you have to go by the desk clerks optimistic description. More than once I found tucking the Beast into a 'smaller than described' site was challenging to say the least or their idea of level was vastly different from ours.

Reserve America books for federal and many state parks. They have site photos.

Been using them for years and have always had good results. Occasionally, the campground will not be pictured, but that's fine, then I use other photo sites.
