Tennessee RV parks

Can anybody make some suggestions for a nice place to stay? Going in June. Want to spend time around or in both Nashville and Memphis. Driving Georgetown 337 pulling 2012 Impala. Thanks

We stayed at Tom Sawyer RV park a few years ago and it was very nice. Just across river in west Memphis. Sites are right on Mississippi River.

Montgomery SP outside of Dickson is located on the west side of Nashville and on the other side is Cedars of Lebanon SP both a short drive into the city but peaceful surroundings.

Cedars of Lebanon get our vote and our presence every time we are in the area , we probably have about 10 - 15 weeks total time there in the last 5 years

Natchez Trace SP between Nashville & Memphis. Exit off I-40 right into the park and travel a few miles south to the quietest campground facility I've found. Short drive to the lodge for dining. Non day use area so only campers allowed at the swimming area. Reservations online only, no stopping at the gate house as your camping tag is already on the post. Campground #1&2 are limited to 25ft & 20ft rigs. 5th wheels & M/H use Pin Oak campground.

Lake Cheatham Dam campground was our best experience in the Nashville area. It is a USACOE facility.

Both state parks are nice the Bell has full service sites if that's important. COE parks are also nice for water and elec there is Cages Bend and Cedar Creek have visited both and recommend. If you are a KOA type fan there are a couple on Music Valley Drive next to a Camping World.

Thanks, Traveling with DW and 4 early 20s girls. Full service is important. Glad I have no problem using bath house.

Two Rivers Campground on Music Valley Drive, right next to Camping World is a Good Sam park and one of our favorite places to stay in Nashville. Full hook-ups, nice clean bathrooms/showers/ and every once in a while on summer nights, free musical entertainment put on by the campground. Do yourself a favor and try Cock 'o the Walk restaurant just on the other side of Camping World.

EZDAZE RV Park in Southaven, MS, right on the MS/TN state line and just a couple of miles from Graceland, is a very nice FHU park. We stayed there on our way north from Gulf Shores last spring.
