Will take 3 weeks to drive up thru northern Canada weather permitting. Then take 3 weeks driving home using the Alcan Highway. Will be staying in our Forester MH and towing a Jeep.

This is like a dream opportunity. Always wanted to be a NPS Ranger as a career but was very difficult to make a living doing that. So now I’m doing it for free. Go Figure!

It appears we have decided to head back to the East Coast this spring. Looks like we'll be in the Williamsburg area for a few weeks and then meander over to the Gatlinburg/ Pidgeon Forge/ Smokey Mountain area for a few weeks as well. After that who knows. Should be starting the last of April.

In 2021 we visited 48 states, (sorry Wis. and Minn.) 46 in our 2018 FR 2291. In our 16,000+ miles, no problems at all with MH. This year we have 3 international trips planned that will take us to Europe, Middle East, South Pacific and eventually around the world. In between we plan to use RV for wine tasting in Eastern Washington, boating and camping with grandkids. No long RV trips this year. We’re loving retirement!

Gotta enjoy life while you can. C-19 pushed our international travel back by over 2 years and we’re just now getting back into longer trips with the RV this spring. Really hope some of the lockdown campers realized this isn’t for them and make other plans.

We are opting for no long trips this year. Just going to explore in New York (not the city) and Pennsylvania. Will be pet (dogs, cats, chickens and ducks) sitting while our one son and his family do some tent camping.

Staying pretty close to home. Will be doing the Brass Ring Rally and Gettysburg Rally. Both in PA. Will be returning to the same campground as the BRR later in September with friends. A few other trips flying to TX visiting family. Car driving to MA, NH family wedding,

Planning a trip to Pennsylvania mid May and possibly one toward somewhere in the Northwest this fall along with a bunch of local stuff.

Taking the new GMC 1500 Duramax and the new (to me) Mini Lite 2109S to Death Valley and then Grand Canyon next month, followed by local trips to Clio, CA, Fallen Leaf Lake (Tahoe), dispersed camping a few times, and then Glacier National park in late August. I. Can't. Wait.

Started our camping season this past weekend near Frankfort, KY. Great campsite at Elkhorn Campground. A little chilly with temos dropping to 20 degrees at night but we were warm inside. Great to be back out!

Camping about every other weekend in Oregon State Parks ($8/reservation for disabled vets.) Although I am semi-retired, so my "weekend" may be Wednesday - Saturday . I have one big trip planned to Alaska, 30 Jun - 5 Jul, but that is a "conventional" trip - flying, car rental, hotel. We will just have to see how far the budget stretches with the gas prices.

What was going to be a spring trip back east, has now turned into a fall trip. The Boss wants to see the "fall colors", as we were back east last spring, I get it. So instead of the east coast this spring, we are headed to the Moab are for a few weeks. Last season we were flat towing a Lincoln MKZ, this year, (after more than a few forehead slaps) we are towing a Jeep Wrangler. More than once we wished we had a Jeep, if for nothing else its versatility. We plan on doing a bunch of "overlanding" and probably some of the moderate Jeep routes, at least as much as our skill/bravery will take us.
And, true to Jeep tradition we have appropriately named it.

You might want to get started on that renewal. Processing times are currently 8-12 weeks, 4-7 weeks expedited ($$.)

I am having a third baby and my company has a new policy where I get 3 months off work for paternity leave. We have a campsite booked for 3 months that is full hookup, on lake michigan. We will likely stay there for 2 months. Trying to take advantage of my time off.

I'm a bit jealous about the time off. I think we both got a month and a half when our daughter was born. Lake Michigan is on our list too, but we definitely need to get some local shakedown trips in first too.

Our first trip with our new TT was this weekend down to Lums Pond in Delaware. I have a whole new list of manufacturing defects for Forest River.

Next up Hickory Run State Park in PA, Hershey Park, Cape May NJ, and Delaware Seashore State Park. We're talking about trying to get another weekend or two in this season. Next year, however, we're planning a trip (not real camping, but still) to take all the kiddos to Fort Wilderness in Disney.

We sure did not plan to be camping in rain, snow and cold but we have been doing just that! Where is Spring?
It sure isn't in Maryland or W Virginia. We drove across I70 and I68 through snow and 30 MPH wind gusts. The Windjammer did great. We are now calling it an IceJammer.
Glad to be snuggled in at Big Bear Lake Campground in Bruceton Mills. Even with the cold and snow, it is still beautiful.
