1st Time Forest River owners

First time owning any travel trailer actually! A few months ago our neighbor let us borrow his Grey wolf travel trailer ( I forget the model number) and went on a three day trip to an RV site that is only 30 minutes from our house. We all loved it so much and our kids kept talking about it (17, 8, and 7) for months so ... We bought a 2020 29TE last week and took it out on Black Friday for a three day trip to Tim's Ford in Winchester, TN. Made plenty of rookie mistakes but biggest was not leaving the black water tank valve closed. We experienced a clogged toilet but got it fixed from you tube video lol.

I winterized it but we are going to continue to use it and we already have our next trip planned for December 26th. I feel humbled and blessed to own this travel trailer and I'm looking forward to all the memories we will make and adventures we will have together as a family.

We hail from North Alabama. Roll Tide Roll

Kudos for jumping right in and maximizing your fun in the cool of the winter, when most of us either travel south or sit at our keyboards.
And WELCOME from Northern Kentucky.

You might want to look at the fine campground at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, AL

Welcome from North Texas. We bought our first Forest River product in 2005 and the two fifth wheels since then have also been Forest River products. It's a great company that makes great products (in my humble opinion).

We definitely will! Can't wait to go and visit the beach and not spend 3K on a rental house!

We live in North Alabama and winter only lasts two or three months and rarely gets extremely cold.
