Hi All,

awaiting dealer prep on my new Grey Wolf, 23DBH. Very excited. Already planned my first trip later this month. Heading for Savannah GA.

Congratulations, make sure they show you everything works, the reason I say is when we bought ours the DVD player wouldn't work, they didn't even check it, the shipping screws were still in it, anyway enjoy and have a safe trip

It is a good idea to do a "close to home" camping to make sure everything works and you have all the supplies you need like pots and pans, etc. That way if you forget anything, you can go home quickly and get it. Also, if there are any issues with the new camper, it won't necessitate a long disappointing ride home.

I was thinking of doing a driveway camp when we bring it home, even though it's winter here in NY, I figure doing a shakedown then drain everything should be fine.

Absolutely take a checklist and make sure you follow it. They'll possibly try to rush you or jump around or convince you that you don't need to test certain things (like the heat in a July but guess what was dead on arrival?!).

I have used this one a couple of times:

As mentioned, do take a DVD (make sure it plays and that sound comes through each individual speaker). Do get on the roof. Do get under the camper.
