2011 Shamrock 21SS Newbie

Hi, this is Dave and we just made the jump from pop-up to travel trailer. Any tips or advice is greatly welcomed. Up in Minnesota and will be impatiently waiting for spring to arrive.

Thanks

Thanks for the message Bob. Actually we bought a new expandable so didn't leap all the way to travel trailer but like the choice at least for now. (Haven't used it yet so better wait to pat myself on the back.) How have you liked your expandable?

welcome to the world of Hybrids!
be sure to post pics and any future questions in the Expandable/Hybrid section here at FRF.
there's a Shamrock sub-section there.

to the forum. Congratulations on your purchase of a hybrid. Our first camper was a hybrid. Still have fond memories of it.

Happy Camping!

Dave,
I dont have Forest River model numbers memorized yet, working on it though to figure out the different lines of trailers they make ...

We ordered ours. I dont actually have a TT in my current pocession. Technically I am not even supposed to be here I guess, but dont tell the moderators....

We looked at several different brands before deciding on the FR family of expandables. I was pleased from what I saw of the Shamrock 233S version. This will be our third trailer, our last one was totaled in an accident last summer. l liked it alot, but when the time came to look for a new one, we wanted a shorter and lighter trailer but still had the need for space, so we went with the expandable. I am excited it should be here in a few weeks.

Yes, check out the expandable section and enjoy the forum....

Welcome. Lots of GREAT places to camp in MN, WI, MI. You will enjoy the floor space you get with a 21SS. For a special camping treat, check out the National Forest Service campgrounds in WI along Hwy 70.

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome all. You are right about the great camping up here in the northland. We have enjoyed a great number of state parks in Minnesota and will take you up on the Forest Service campgrounds in WI. Will post pics as soon as we pick up the new purchase.
