Hopefully we'll be up there in late August at Ledgeview in Lake George. Coming up for a week and going to the races at Saratoga if they are running by then.

Welcome to the forum. I grew up around there and my parents still live in Queensbury. That looks like the Mini Ha Ha. Beautiful area.

Welcome.
We’ve loved the Lake George area whenever we visited for Americade the first week of June every year since 1987. Americade is listed as the World’s Largest Touring Rally and is a huge financial boost to the area.....if not the largest.
However, because of COVID, this year got postponed into July for the first time ever.....if it’s still allowed then.
Tons of gorgeous campgrounds in the area of beautiful scenery.

Races have been canceled for Spectators. The races themselves will continue without the fans. Unfortunately. A

The moose is a very expensive Campground. Not my cup of tea. The layout and the sites are gorgeous. But for the money I’d rather be on the ocean. Frontier town as a brand new DEC park that has electric but no other hookups. It’s off of exit 29 of the Northway. It’s fancy for a DEC park $35 a night for the electric site. It has nice wide roads and the sites are large . There are a few smaller ones.

Welcome! I have visited the Adirondacks many times. A great place to camp, hike, canoe, and ski. Most of my experience has been in the western and central areas, but you can't go wrong anyplace you go. There's something for everyone.

agree the moose is super expensive, we do it Columbus weekend with a group of friends, its nice to have the big sites because we all have 2 dogs each. Plus Columbus weekend isn't terrible on pricing.

We love the area & attending the Americade rally also. Starting about 1990 we went to the rally for 12 years straight.
Moose Hillock is a fun place, great pool slide area for the kids with cabanas for the adults!
Campground has the largest sites but you do pay a premium.
