Almost retired
I am one week from retirement and will begin our travels in April. We have purchased a 2016 Forest River Sandpiper and we believe it was a great purchase. I am a retired law man, veteran and of late, a truck driver so I hope to make lots of new friends with like history or interests. We have found that the slides on the Sandpiper do not work well. So I will read some forums to see if our problem has already been addressed. Happy travels and hope to meet out there somewhere.

Happy trails from another retired LEO. 23 years with the USDOJ. We love taking off for a month or more at a time. Enjoy your new found freedom. Don;t be surprised when you fid yourself busier after retirement and when you were working full time.

Happy upcoming retirement. You're going to love it. I just started my 16th year of not having to set an alarm, commuting to work, and not having enough time to do what I want.
