Aloha...from Utah
Good day to y'all - we're excited to be back in the RV community - we used to have a 2010 32' Bunk House TT pulled with a 2010 Dodge Ram Diesel, but we lost all of that when we lost our restaurant...another story for another day...
Now, we were lucky enough to find IN STOCK, in June of this year...a 2021 XLR Micro Boost 25LRLE TH which we love!!, and it just barely fits our 2012 Kawasaki Teryx4. We look forward to many adventures and have enjoyed the ones we've been on so far.
I do have a question though, and while I know this is just a 'Hello' thread, would someone happen to know what the roof is like on my 25LRLE? They say it is walkable...I know that doesn't mean I can jump up and down on it...I would eventually like to install some solar panels (again, I know I could get into some heated debates on this topic...another time another place...) - my main question for now is, is the roof sturdy enough to allow me to 'screw' my panels/brackets to the roof - obviously sealing them sufficiently so they won't leak. I hear some roofs are made with thin luan while others with sturdy plywood/osb. I think I read somewhere that FR uses 3/8 OSB for all their roofs?? - does anyone know? Again, my main question, for now, is...can I screw a bracket into my roof with certainty that it will hold.
Thanks in advance for any help and insight....on this issue and perhaps many more to come.
