Another Newbie
Hi, should have introduced myself here first I guess before posting in the specific section, sorry.
From Oklahoma, just purchased our first TT, a 2005 Wildwood TT (M29+3). Wife and 2 boys are pretty excited. Not sure how much we will actually use it so we decided to purchase a good used model as opposed to jumping in to the cost of brand new right off the bat???
Looking forward to learning a bunch here. Appears that there are lots of nice and very knowledgable folks camping around this forum.
thanks again

Welcome. A good idea to go used and test the waters...so to speak. It's certainly not for everyone...but suits us just fine!

Hey there Crosshill, welcome to the campground. Going 'good-used first' is a very smart move. We did and it was a ton of fun. Two boys! man they will love it.
PS we don't fake it very much. You'll be able to tell... we start using big words. eg: when you hear about hydroponically adjusting slide travel velocisity, you can be pretty sure we have no idea what we're talking about.

Welcome and enjoy your TT. I am new here too and enjoy the reading. We bought new, we were scared of what we might get with the Hurricane Katrina leftovers. Well, the wife had to have new.

Hmmm, sometimes wives just don't get the sense of adventure that comes with paying thousands of dollars for something with no guarantee and no way of telling what's really wrong with it. Party-poopers.

welcome,
we bought a used one several years ago to see if we would use it and we are glad we did. now that we feel we will continue to camp, we went ahead and bought a new one recently. if you take care of problems as they arise the camper will do well.
happy camping
