Apex Nano

New to this forum. Just brought home our 2019 Apex Nano 187RB. A few questions: after 5 days in driveway the battery is down to one third. The only thing on is the radio display. Any ideas?
Also, after running A.C. power to recharge battery, the fan in circuit panel runs constantly, is that normal?
Thanks everyone

Welcome from the
Northern Shenandoah

You will need to install a battery disconnect switch. Probably more than just the radio display. Most units have several circuits that are always energized. Also the fan in the circuit panel runs as long as the inverter/charger is operating. It is possible that your battery was not fully charged up.

Welcome from Wisconsin and congrats on your 2019 Apex Nano 187RB. A battery disconnect switch will help with parasitic draw when you're not using the camper.

Yep, if it doesn't have a battery disconnect switch, the parasitic power drains will empty a battery in a few days.
Either keep the TT plugged into shore power or install a disconnect switch.
The fan running is on the converter, which is now working hard to recharge a severely depleted battery.
The radio display is just one of a number of parasitic power drains.

Exclamation My recent purchase of the Apex Nano 187rb

Perhaps this is not the appropriate thread to say that I recently purchased a 2019 Apex Nano 187rb.
The biggest glaring issue I see is the air exchange around the front window. The trim panel covers the gap between the out fiberglass shell and interior wall. The lack of vapor sealing will create condensation on the fiberglass shell, for starters. I will need to address that design flaw in the near future.
