bedding options

Hey guys, new to forest river forums and new to the RV world. Just bought a Forest River Surveyor SV235 with the rear king slider 2012 model. The king bed is 72x74 and I cannot seem to find sheets that fit that or anywhere close to fitting. Does anyone have any ideas or have the same matress. It is made my Michiana Mattress company. Thanks and I look forward to many more discussions about my new trailer

If you want exact fitting sheets you will need to go to someplace like this:
RV Sheets, Motorhome Bedding, Camper or Motorhome Linens Custom Made

otherwise you are looking at what most stores carry as king size which is 76x80. You can google RV bedding or RV sheets and you will find other sites as well.

I would buy ordinary king sheets and have mama get out the sewing machine.

We have the same size mattress in our 21WRS and have found the QUEEN size jersey sheets (about $25) from Walmart fit perfectly. They stretch to fit!!

Thank you to everyone for your replies. I have called "Mamma" and she said, NO PROBLEM. We are also going to buy the queen jersey sheets to try those out. As for the custom sheets, they are so expensive it is just not worth it. I think I would put down some sleeping bags before buying those.... Happy camping to everyone!!

I don't have any info on the sheets, but adding about 3 inches of Memory Foam topper (i.e. TemperPedic) makes a huge difference in comfort...

We have a "short" queen and it appears you have a "short" king. We use regular queen sheets and buy the elastic sheet straps at Wally World for $5.00. These keep the bottom sheet nice and tight and you don't have to spend extra $$ for exact fit sheets.

Hey.....I have the same problem with a new Forest River Salem 2013 that we recently bought. Solution is.....Found a company AB Lifestyles (www.ablifestyles.net) that will custom make the sheets and mattress pad according to your measurements. They are very reasonable and do a wonderful job. I purchased a mattress pad and two sets of sheets. They are fantastic to deal with and very friendly. Hope this helps you!
