Camping Newbie from PA
My wife Jan and I reside in beautiful Lancaster, PA.
We purchased our first travel trailer, a 2016 Surveyor 32RLTS, and had it delivered to a permanent (for now) campground in the Pocono Mountains, PA.
We got the itch after researching the last 3 years with my sister and brother-in-law who got their own camper. We enjoyed and experienced how getting away really helps you forget about your work week and have some fun.
We are both tall...my wife is 6ft. 2in. and I am 6ft. 5in, so we've looked around a lot for something we could have a little headroom. The barreled roof on this gives me about 5 1/2in. above my head. With 3 slides it is very roomy. It was our personal preference to want more room. I can even stand up straight (barely) in the shower.
This forum so far has been a tremendous help already with doing some DIY research on a couple of small issues. It sure helps when you can see others having similar problems and how they are resolved.
I'm looking forward to many years of camping and making new friends (both camping and here on the forum).

Welcome from a fellow Lancaster countians! Good luck with the new unit. What CG are you at now? We head to the Poconos a good also but tend towards state parks.

Congrats and welcome from Berks County. We stayed earlier this at Otter Lake in the Poconos and loved it. Hope you enjoy the camping life.

We are in Westchester County NY and bought our 1st TT last yr. We mostly go to music festivals but are looking for campgrounds within a few hours so we can get away more often.

Welcome from Maryland in Cecil County and only 45 mins from Lancaster. Stay a lot at Country Acres and planning on being there for Labor Day.
