Can't WAIT!! Where did spring go?!

Not entirely new to camping, but am starting "a new" and ready to get going!

We are picking up our 2012 Rockwood Windjammer 2609W next Monday and can't wait to start outfitting it how we want it!

Looking forward to seeking advice from anyone who will give it and love getting new ideas at random from anyone!

Half the time it will be my BF, two kids, and two dogs, and the other half of the time......BF and two dogs. Looking very much forward to making many new memories.

Happy camping, everyone!!

Outfitting is very individual what I carry you might think is crazy . What area are you camping in?

Thanks!

It's a 2012 Rockwood Windjammer 2609W. I'm going to check out the site more thoroughly today.......I have a couple of questions already, like since it's a 2012, do any of the original warranties transfer and also, how much weight can the back bumpers of these trailers really hold, like bike racks and such?

Looking forward to the site!

Welcome to FRF !

Did you buy your trailer from a dealer as left over stock or was it a private sale ?

If you are purchasing the unit used then the warranty cannot be transferred. FR only warranties the original owner. The back bumper is only built to hold the spare tire. Do not try to put a bike rack on the bumper. They are not strong enough and you might find your bikes and bumper laying on the side of the road. There are many discussions on the subject of rear bumpers and adding a hitch to the frame. Enjoy your new trailer and have a safe and fun summer.

I thought that might be the case on the warranty since the dealer didn't say anything when we were looking at it. Although, since he took it in on trade and doesn't usually carry the Rockwood line, thought I'd better check.

I figured there would be an issue with too much weight on that bumper..........hmmmm......now to figure out the best way to carry bikes.

Spring has been in our area for about 10 days now. Today at 11:00, the sky is clear blue, there's no noticeable wind the temperature is 54 F (low 60's expected later) and humidity around 15%.
