Checking In From N.E. Pa.

Hi all. Wife and I have previously owned a Pop Up, HTT, Toyhauler and now a 2009 Salem LA 292FKSS. Towing with a GMC 2500 Gasser with a 1200# Reese Strait Line and Dual Cam HP. Picked up the Salem 5/31/08 and have been running the systems in our driveway while we set it up as we will be pulling it to a spot where it will be at for 2months starting the end of June. The Salem is the culmination of a 7month negotiation and waiting process as Forest River and mostly thanks to our dealer bought back our TH as it was a new design with a front bed slide that leaked that they did fix but the TH was stickered incorrectly to the tune of 3200#.
So far the Salem seems on the surface to be a well put together unit with nice fit and finish especially all the woodworking. Hopefully my initial observations will be borne out in the long haul.
