Downgraded from 31’ to 17’

Hi all!
I’m at the point of my life where all 3 of my kids are in college, so the wife and I hope to have more free time to do some traveling and camping just as couples!

We had a 31ft motorhome for the last 15 years, but with the kids gone, it just sat around a lot since 2020. So we sold it last year.

We got the camping bug again and just picked up a brand new 2025 GeoPro 15FBS.
It’s half the size of our old motorhome, and sleeps only 2.
But it’s a perfect couple’s camper, we love the floor plan, and it’s pretty easy to tow behind our mid-size truck.

Anyway after all our research when picking out a new RV, we really fell in love with the GeoPros, so we are happy to be a part of the Forest River family!

Welcome to the forum from Virginia.

During and after college our sons camped with us and still do. We just gained more with us..... i.e. spouses and grandsons. The DW and I have camped alone about once in 35 years.

But hope to when the DW can retire.

Enjoy!!!

You DownSIZED, not downgraded. Lots of people find that a small trailer meets their needs best. We traveled around 30,000 miles in a trailer about that size and really enjoyed it.

Congratulations on your new trailer and welcome to the forum!

A smaller unit is a big benefit to folks who like to amp in smaller out of the way boondocker campgrounds that often cant accomodate larger rigs. We downszed for that reason.
