downsized

After many years of driving over the road in a 18 wheeler when I retired we bought a 5th wheel with two slides & a one ton Dodge diesel dually that my wife & I had for several years. A little over a year ago we sold our rig thinking we were ready to settle down & stay home. We both turned 75 on our last birthday.

Once a road bum I guess one is always a road bum - anyway that is the case for us. We have on order thru RV-Direct a small Rookwood Mini lite 1809S that we will pick up in the spring at Elkhart, IN. As the title says we downsized but can still have our own bed & shower (didn't have a good experience with the handicapped motel rooms!)

Comments welcome.

Good for you.....enjoy yourself! We pick up our new rig this weekend (Flagstaff 26RLS). I'M hoping this size will last us the next 6 years until our youngest gets out of high school and beyond!

I'm a outside guy while at the camp grounds. Unless it is extremly hot or a thunder storm im sitting outside under the awning... R-E-L-A-X-I-N-G !

Happy Camping!
