Explorer winterizing

I am ready to order an Isata 5 28ss with the explorer package. Do I need to winterize it if it sits on my drive for a week between trips if it is on shore power? Is draining the tanks enough or even necessary? We will base out of Colorado Springs

That depends on what the temperature will be while it’s sitting for a week. Not much of a concern in the summer but could be problematic in the winter. If you plan on using the rig in the winter you may want to invest in a small air compressor to blow out the water system rather than going through a lot of antifreeze, although you’ll still need some for P-traps and such. There are some good videos on YouTube showing how to winterize with air.
