Finally Arrived

Well...from the last thread I was asking for advice on which models of 5th wheel trailers are best and or which ones to stay away from. I knew when I asked the question I'd get all kinds of opinions but we did attend the RV show held here in Minneapolis. After spend the entire day, we finally decided on a model we wanted.
Last Thursday (04/10) we took ownership of a 2014 Forest River Silverback 33lr. It was a dream come true and something we've wanted for 15+ years. We are excitedly looking forward to planning our first trip. More then likely it will be close, but none the less exciting.
We have purchased the sewer hose, freshwater hose, blocking for the wheels, a few electrical plugs, and a few items to start putting in the RV itself. There is much more to get, but we'll do it a little at a time.
Being this is our first 5th wheel or camper of any size, if there are some words of wisdom from others I like to hear them.
I will keep you all posted to our first adventure.

Nice rig!

Do not let it intimidate you.

Then go have fun!

Congrats on the new Cedar Creek Silverback. That's a great floorplan you picked out. Keep your first trip close to home in case you forget something and test everything in the unit again.
