Finally Moving Up to a TT from A PUP

Hello forum,
We are a senior couple that is shopping for our first TT under 5,000 GVWR lbs. We have been campers all of our adult life and I have been looking at and researching RVs for years. My question today is, do you have any recommendations for us for the typical one slide, couple camper? We love the Rockwood 2109s and the Flagstaff 21FBRS. Can anyone tell us the basic differences between these two units? The layout and specs appear to be the same. Thanks, The Fosters

Rockwood and Flagstaff are twin brands. Very common in the RV industry.
Only difference is outside graphics and interior decor patterns/colors.
Both built on same assembly line with same materials.

Sounds like us, except we are going from a bigger TT to a smaller one. There aren't many shorter models with a slide to choose from, I guess you've compared the Coachmen Freedom Express, Dutchmen Aerolite, Prime Time Tracer Air, or Cruiser RV models, each has its pluses and minuses. The DW liked the drawers at the foot of the bed, and bedside cabinets that don't give her a walled-in feeling, so that settled things, and it was then a matter of which Forest River dealer would give us the best deal, and a Rockwood dealer won out. Next week we will be picking up our 2109S. As bikendan said, the only difference is cosmetic. Good luck, whatever you choose!
