Finally upgraded from the tent! Happy to be here!

Hello all from WA!
After years of tenting it (I did grow up RV'ing in the 80's with my parents) I have upgraded to 2016 HW296. Last kid graduated and I was the lone one of the friend group (single moms when they got them) who did not have a trailer. Did I bite off more than I can chew? mmmm...maybe but I've had it out twice already and LOVE it. I've crawled under and all around learning (and yes fixing since it was a consignment) but all in all happy to have it and to be a part of this forum. Goodness knows I've been that girl you tubing, looking thru these forums for info and you all are a serious God send.
Cheers and thank you in advance for all the help I will probably need!

It is better to have too much truck than to have too much trailer.

Welcome from another Western WA member.
I think our TT is a little smaller, but the DW sure likes it.

Welcome from Wisconsin. Congrats and enjoy your 2016 Rockwood HW296. Those high wall popups are real nice. Lots of friendly. knowledgeable and helpful people on this forum.

Looks great -- but the HW296 is still a tent. So is my Roo and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Camping with a group should give you plenty of support.

lol this is very true. Although now I can actually stand up in it without breaking my back! I'm 6'. Now I just tumble down the stairs rather than roll off the cot and out the zipped door.

Thank you! Yes I know exactly where you are at! I am in Wenatchee. I love that side of our State and have fam over in that area. Plus kids that are at WWU. Would love to hear your suggestions on your fav spots with a TT over there to stay!
