first RV Purchase

Hi everyone,
My husband and I just purchased our first RV. We bought the Forest River 3 - 32DS. We are retirement age and its our first. I am hoping this forum will be able to help us when we get in a jam. I am going to do a lot of reading on previous posts but I know there is a lot of things that we are going to need help with. We have two trips planned for this year so far and they are for 2 weeks each.
Our plan is to semi-retire and travel out of New England next year as long as this goes OK.
Thanks
Gail & Joe

Make your first trip somewhere close with a Walmart and Lowe’s nearby.

Eat and drink well. Try everything out for three days. Add your touches.

There is a fairly long list of things to learn. Best learned with no pressure.

our first trip is about 45 minutes away at the most from our house and yes there is a Walmart close I hear.
Thanks for the advice.
We do not have a problem with drinking well...:

That’s great to hear.
I wish I had started this 5 years ago but never had the opportunity. Now my grandkids are old enough to take and they love nature so we are doing it. A little scared or maybe a lot scared but what the heck.

We were all a little nervous/unsure when we started too but figured it all out and in time you will too. Two ways to learn, 1) Don't ask questions, make a mistake which will cost you $$ and 2) Ask questions from those that have learned from mistakes which will save you time, money, and sanity. Just have fun and enjoy the adventure.
